Be Kind, Share Wide, Inspire Many...

Do you know someone caring for a family member or friend?

We challenged people across the country to perform a random act of kindness for a family caregiver they knew. More than 350 people shared heartfelt stories of compassion, service and love to show appreciation and thanks. Twelve people were awarded prizes based on the creativity, originality and impact of their random act of kindness. The Grand Prize was awarded to Nancy from Brewster OH. She had been planning an addition on her house, but when her sister lost her husband and the home where she cared for her two disabled children, Nancy purchased a house for them instead.

Although the contest may be over, the importance of lending a hand to a caregiver doesn't end. Share these stories with friends and family and inspire others to do the same!

Caregiving is a demanding job, and every little bit of help and support can make a difference. You can share your story or a loved one's on I Heart Caregivers or join our online community to engage with other family caregivers.
